Pre-Requisite:
The pre-requisite for a Level 2 Yoga Intensive is the completion of a previous Level 1 or 2 Yoga Intensive with Sabu. The course will move gradually forward from where the Level 1 left off, but will not start at the very beginning, as Level 1 Beginners Intensives do.

About the Course
Throughout the Month-Long Level 2 Intermediate Yoga Intensive you will continue to develop, strengthen and build the Yoga practice that you learned in your Level 1 Yoga Beginners Intensive. You will have more time in this class which will be used to dive deeper into relaxation, variations of the Yoga postures and more specific philosophy about Yoga, positive thinking, mediation and more. Yoga is a never-ending journey, and the Level 2 Yoga Intensive is meant to further challenge and expand your knowledge and practice of it.

The method you will be learning comes from the Sivananda Yoga Tradition, founded by Swami Vishnudevananda in 1957, who came to the West from India to share the great wisdom of Yoga with all of us. Swami Vishnudevananda, disciple of Swami Sivananda, introduced a very methodic system of Yoga practice for a balanced life, including twelve basic yoga postures (asanas), relaxation (savasana), breathing exercises (pranayama) and sun salutations (surya namaskar). You may also be introduced to other various practices of Pranayama, Kriyas, philosophy and Meditation techniques.

What to bring

There are yoga mats at the studio, but if you have your own, you are welcome to bring it.
